Katie Blasio focuses her practice on public finance, real estate and local government law, primarily representing municipal utility districts and other special districts as general counsel and bond counsel. She also represents real estate developers in the formation of special districts and in matters relating to the development of property within special districts. Prior to joining SPH, Katie was a transactional attorney at Vinson & Elkins LLP in Houston. During her time there, Katie’s practice included mergers and acquisitions and capital markets, including public and private M&A, securities offerings, private equity and general corporate representation. During law school, Katie interned for the Harris County Criminal Court and the Georgia Supreme Court.
